Classes are held on Thursday evenings from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm Each class session lasts six (6) weeks and the cost is $110.00.

After you have registered your pet and submitted payment, you will receive access to our online client portal. The portal will allow you to communicate with us, receive updates, documents and training resources.

In this class we will work on the foundations of basic training, giving your pet a solid understanding of simple behaviors. You will learn how to effectively communicate with your pet and build a strong bond for a lifetime of enjoyment together.
Cues taught in this class: Sit Down Drop it Built in stay Leave it/Get it Loose leash walking Recall (come when called) Watch me (name recognition) We place a strong emphasis on loose leash walking as well as socialization and appropriate greetings. Additional topics addressed are potty training, jumping and puppy biting/nipping. |
In this class you'll learn how to increase the reliability of basic cues
by adding the 3 D's. (distance, duration and distractions) We will practice increasing difficulty while setting your dog up for long term success. Additional cues taught in this class: Heel Wait Go to bed Additional topics addressed are continued socialization, resource guarding, chewing, digging and excessive barking. |
Please note: Dakota's Dogs, LLC will not accept dogs that have a history of aggression toward people and/or other animals. We reserve the right to terminate training or refuse any pet that we deem unacceptable for group classes.
